Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to get to know our family and ministry!
We are Bevin, Judy, and Mathias—missionaries serving in Asia. Bevin grew up as a missionary kid (MK) in Zimbabwe, while Judy was raised as a military kid (also an MK!) in Okinawa, Japan. Our beloved son, Mathias, just turned 17 and continues to bring joy and inspiration to our journey.
For over 30 years, we’ve been privileged to serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a global movement of over 22,000 volunteers dedicated to sharing the gospel and transforming lives. YWAM staff are actively working in over 180 countries, supported by a network of friends, family, and ministry partners.
For 15 years, we served on the leadership team of a vibrant YWAM campus in Colorado Springs, which focused on equipping, sending, and sustaining missionaries to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the world’s most unreached peoples.
The Need: Reaching the Unreached
You may know that there are over 8.2 billion people on earth, but did you know that over 3 billion of them still have little to no access to the gospel? That’s nearly 29% of humanity living in what we call “gospel deprivation.” In fact, 87% of Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists worldwide do not personally know a Christian.
This is not just a spiritual challenge—it’s a profound injustice. And it’s one we are committed to addressing.
God’s New Mission Force
While nations like America continue to send missionaries, we are witnessing a powerful shift: God is transforming the mission field into the mission force. Today, countries in the Global South and East are becoming new centers of missions, sending workers to some of the hardest-to-reach places.
In this season, we are based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where we are humbled to play a small part in this movement. We serve with the Asian Leaders Learning Community (ALLC), a YWAM initiative for leadership development, and as Elders for YWAM Frontier Missions, which focuses on church planting among unreached people groups.
We also founded GlobalCAST Resources and the School of Missions Advocacy (SOMA), which trains and equips emerging leaders in missions mobilization. SOMA is now an accredited Extension Studies Course with the University of the Nations through uofn4all.org in Penang, Malaysia.
Join the Journey
Our vision has always been bigger than ourselves, and it is only possible because of God’s grace and the faithful partnership of people like you. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has stood with us through the seasons, and we invite you to join our ministry partnership team.
Would you pray for us and consider joining our team as we partner with God to reach the unreached and empower the next generation of missionaries?
Together, we can continue transforming the mission field into the mission force.
With gratitude and hope,
Bevin, Judy, and Mathias
Thank you for considering partnering with us!
